Livingstone - Zambia

White Water Rafting

Low Water run - approx 10th July to 20th Jan. This trip can be a choice of the following:-
Full Day - Rapids # 1 to # 23
AM Half Day - Rapids # 1 to # 10
PM Half Day - Rapids # 10 to # 23

High Water run - approx 20th Jan to 10th July (stopping in between if river level becomes too high).  This trip runs from rapid # 10 to rapid # 23

* Please note that Safari Par Excellence now offers a lift out of the gorge at # 23 inclusive in the price of rafting.  At other points, clients will have to walk out of the gorge.*

Full Day (Low Water)

• 7.30am pick up from Livingstone accommodation.
• 8.15am pick up from DLSL (clients to have breakfast at hotel before pick up)
• Meet at Zambezi Waterfront for Breakfast, Tea, Coffee, Juice and safety briefing, depart Waterfront approx 09.00am for Boiling Pot and rapid # 1
• Lunch is provided on the banks of the river by rapid # 10.  Lunch consists of a variety of rolls, fruit and fruit juice.  Water is provided throughout the day.
• At the end of the trip, clients will get a lift out of the gorge at rapid # 23 where the truck will be waiting with cold drinks and beers to take them back to Zambezi Waterfront.
• 16.30 / 17.00 - Clients arrive back at the Waterfront where they will be served dinner and sit down to watch the video of the day’s rafting.  Cash bar.
• 17.30 / 18.00 - Clients will be transferred back to their accommodation.

Half Day (Low Water)
AM trip

• 7.30am pick up from Livingstone accommodation.
• 8.15am pick up from DLSL (clients to have breakfast at hotel before pick up)
• Meet at Zambezi Waterfront for Breakfast, Tea, Coffee, Juice and safety briefing, depart Waterfront approx 09.00am for Boiling Pot and rapid # 1
• Clients will walk out of the gorge at rapid # 10 where the truck will be waiting with cold drinks and beers to take them back to Zambezi Waterfront.
• 12.30 / 1.00pm - Clients arrive back at the Waterfront for lunch.  Cash bar.
• After lunch, clients will be transferred back to their accommodation.
